Terms
Terraria Access Agreement
Terraria is an open-world sandbox adventure game where players explore vast landscapes, gather resources, craft tools and weapons, build unique structures, and battle a variety of enemies and bosses. By downloading, installing, or playing the game, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms govern your access to in-game systems, world creation and customization, trading and crafting, multiplayer cooperation, and special seasonal or event-based content. As the game continues to evolve with new updates, biomes, and balance adjustments, these terms may also change. You are responsible for reviewing this section periodically to remain informed and compliant with the latest agreement.
- Terraria is a premium game available for purchase, with optional additional content or features depending on the platform. Once purchased, you can enjoy world-building, exploration, boss battles, and multiplayer gameplay without further cost, unless you choose to buy optional expansions or special content where applicable. By completing any transaction, you confirm that purchased items or content are delivered immediately and are generally non-refundable unless required by local law. The development team reserves the right to adjust pricing, rotate available items, or modify content to maintain balance and ensure a fair experience for all players.
- While we strive to offer a smooth and immersive adventure experience, Terraria is provided “as-is.” Occasional downtime may occur due to updates, maintenance, unexpected server issues (in multiplayer modes), or platform service interruptions. By playing, you acknowledge that uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed at all times. The team works to improve stability, fix bugs, and release regular content updates — but there may still be temporary limitations depending on device, region, or connection quality.
- All Terraria content — including sprites, textures, music, sound effects, gameplay systems, and user interface elements — is protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or modification of these assets is strictly prohibited. Community creations such as fan art, gameplay videos, guides, or mods are welcome when they comply with brand guidelines, fair use, and platform rules.
Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions sent through official channels are voluntary and may be used by the development team without obligation to provide credit or compensation. The use of third-party cheats, exploits, malicious mods, or harassment of other players is strictly forbidden and may result in penalties, including permanent bans from multiplayer servers. Terraria aims to foster a respectful, fair, and creative community for players around the world.
